College Advisement Program (CAP)

PASCO’s College Advisement Program (CAP) will be a unique and beneficial experience for every player involved. Signing up for the CAP program will give players a chance to get individual and small group training sessions that will directly help their ability to play college soccer. At the same time, each player will get a CAP coach who will guide their application process. The guidance will be to help players organize a timeline of when to take SAT/ACT tests, when to send in applications, when/how to narrow down school choices, and much more. There is no other program that will offer this kind of specific instruction for YOUR child.

Academic advisement, as well as small group and individual training sessions, makes this program one of a kind. The flexible schedule that Pasco provides allows any student-athlete the opportunity to take part. By joining this program, players will get the skills needed to not only get into quality colleges, but also to sustain the success needed outside of the classroom as well.

PASCO CAP Award: The annual PASCO CAP Award will go to 1 worthy senior that has shown extraordinary  work ethic in school, on the playing field and in the community. To see more about this award, please visit our RESOURCE CENTER .

ACADEMIC AND PHYSICAL APPROACHES TO TRAINING

ACADEMIC – Choosing a college is a complex decision for anyone who is uninformed. Our advisors who are former and current college coaches will present the right questions to players so they can make right the choice. Understanding the differences between which tests to take, extracurricular activities, and study habits are just a small piece to this big puzzle. Our advisors will help and guide our players to make the choices that best serve them and their families.

PHYSICAL – It is one thing to see the next level train, it is another to prepare to train at the next level. Our coaches will put players in similar college workouts so everyone involved will know what to expect. Preparation is key and the four principles of playing are what drives every training session. Tactics, technique, psychological and physical are the foundation for which every session will be built
