NJ Stallions get back to winning ways in Super Y
The girls had a rough couple of games where they played very well but just didn't get the breaks. After some hard work at practices the girls really came together in a team effort win against Princeton. The girls contolled posession in the midfield and defense allowed few opportunities while forwards did the job on some awesome shots. The girls won 4-0 and look forward to playing their next game.

NJ Stallions goes offensive and scores 5 to WIN 5-4 over QuickStrike SC in Super Y
The teams came ready to play in a high paced offensive battle. NJ Stallions scored first in the sixth minute but were answered less then a minute later by a goal from QuickStrike. Two goals off set plays by the girls gave them a 3-1 halftime lead. Two minutes into the second half QuickStike scored to make it 3-2 and continued to put on the pressure. Our girls answered for two more goals. QuickStrike has a powerful front line but the Defense was able to hold them off for most of the second half but yielded two late goals and hung on for the win in a great game.

NJ Stallions evens record with Super Y 2-0 win vs Rage SC
The girls controlled play in a extremely well played team game. After double digit shots in the first half they finally put one in the back of the net 10' into the second half and then another shortly after. Defense and Mid had a strong game limiting Rage to 2 or 3 opportunities the whole game.

PASCO finally nets first win of the young season vs. Paramus ( 2-0 )
The team looked very good on the hottest day of the year on a field that was horrendous. The girls worked hard in the heat and battled to net two goals on good team efforts to move the ball up the field, control posession and get off several shots. The entire team was solid in the win.

PASCO loses tough one in wind whipped game
The team lost 1-0 to Clifton in a tough battle on a windy day. The team didn't seem to have the fire lit right from the start without Coach Luis at the game. Then playing with 13 players due to Spring Break and losing a top forward to injury in the first ten minutes didn't help either. The girls are looking forward to getting back to business after the next two weekends with no games scheduled.

The team ended their season winning the championship in the MSSL Fall Challenge tournament. The team had only 12 players for the entire tournament and even though the games had shortened playing time 5 games in one day not counting the horrendous winds and cold was alot. The girls held tough and though exhausted won the final vs TSF in PK's thanks to strong shooting and Johnna's save. Good season girls.

PASCO earns tie for second place in JAGS/MAPS A flight
The team ended their JAGS run with their only loss of the season. Playing without several sick players the team of 13 came out flat and never found their game. Bridgewater totally dominated them start to finish. Ironically this loss gave Bridgewater the points to earn the tie for second place.

PASCO earns 1-1 tie vs Mamaroneck in Wind and rain storm
The teams played a choppy game in 40 mph winds and driving rain. The wind controlled the ball in one direction for the entire match. The ball was constantly blowing off the field in a choppy game. Both goals were scored with the wind at the attackers backs. PASCO scored the tying goal to bring their MAPS record to 2-0-2.

PASCO girls stayed strong in rough State Cup loss
The PASCO girls were up against Freehold (#3 in NJ ) and came out strong scoring first and showing they came to play. The referees were hardly up to par and half way through the first half we lost a player on no call foul resulting in an arm with torn ligaments and a sprained wrist (out for the season). PASCO kept up with Freehold through all the unusual calls and non-calls but at the half Freehold had gone ahead with a last minute goal to go up 2-1. Five minutes into the second half a scuffle between two players broke out and inexplicipably only PASCO got a RED card. PASCO played the rest of the game down a player and only gave up a goal when they pushed forward trying for a tying goal. It was a great effort playing down a player for half the game against a very high ranked Freehold team. The girls showed their heart and earned some respect.
GO PASCO!!!

Congratulations Elizabeth Monsen on Super Y league ODP Selection
Congratulations Elizabeth and also to Alternates: Kelsey Harpell, Isabella Penzato and Brianna Panico. These girls were chosen for the MidAtlantic 94-95 team for Super Y ODP. Click Here
TAMPA — United Soccer Leagues announced today the final player selections for the Super Y-League’s ODP National Camps to be held at Ed Radice Sports Complex in Tampa, Florida. The first of two camps will begin on Thursday, February 19 and run through Sunday, February 22. That camp will consist of three girls’ groups: the oldest group will include girls born in 1992, the second group will be players who were born in 1993 and the youngest group will contain a combination of players born in 1994/1995.
Selections from the 2008 season were made from the identification system by the Super Y-League National ODP Scouting Staff. The selection process was then finalized by the ODP Staff Coaches and assembled by the USL office.
“The Super Y-League ODP National Camps have propelled players from our league into U.S. Youth National Team Camps for successive years,” said USL Senior Director of Youth League Development, Jeff McRaney. “They also provide opportunities for elite players in the U.S. and Canada to be identified by top university programs and by our international partners, West Ham United.”
U.S. National Team Staff will be in attendance at this year’s Super Y-League ODP National Camps beginning in January and February of 2008 in Cocoa, Florida, for further identification of players.

Strong showing at Parsippany Tournament
The girls played 3 strong team games while sitting 3 starters ( giving them only one sub all weekend ) in order that they stay ready for next round of State Cup. The girls lost 1-0 to BeachsideSC of CT, lost 2-0 to the Americans on two late goals and in an excellent third game ( other then the horrendous referees ) tied FC COPA 1-1. It was an excellent weekend of soccer where coach Luis got to try different things, rest some kids and prepare for the big State Cup game vs. Freehold next Saturday. GO PASCO!!!

NJ Stallions has a successful weekend in Super Y games
The heat was brutal but the girls kept their focus and earned two wins. In the first game it took 15 minutes to break through but after that the team kept the pressure on and earned a 4-0 WIN vs. South Jersey Barons. The next day game vs. Parsippany Diamonds was much tougher. The girls scored first but midway through the second half the Diamonds tallied a tying goal, with under 5 minutes to play the Stallions put in the game winner. It was especially satisfying after tying Parsippany in the JAGS game 0-0 earlier in the year. GREAT JOB GIRLS!

The Super Y league season started with a BIG WIN vs. TSF Academy. PASCO girls start their JAGS season with strong effort
What a great start to the Spring season. Click on the video snippets link on the left to see some of the action. The girls woke up early, and travelled 2 hours to face two NJ Top 10 ranked teams back to back, they fought through even having some sick players and a few injuries. On a poor field the girls started with an outstanding performance against a tough Highland Wildcat team earning a draw 0-0.
Then a little more than an hour later faced Bridgewater. They held each other scoreless through the first half but a mistake in the first minutes of the second half gave Bridgewater the edge. The girls came close to comng back a few times but were unable to net one. Final score 0-1. GREAT START GIRLS. GO PASCO!

After several scrimmages with NJSA, Clifton U14 girls and our own U16 girls the players are anxious to put all their hard work to the test. The season opens next Sunday 3/30 with a double header against Bridgewater and Highland. GO PASCO.

PASCO loses 1-0 on an unwarranted PK
After controlling much of the play in the rematch with NJSA04 it was a shame to lose on a PK call. WIth 4 minutes left in the game their was a questionable call with the foul called at the side of the box with play carrying the players into the box.

PASCO plays to tie with tough Wall team
The girls started the game extremely strong and got a quick goal on an awesome shot. The girls carried the play most of the first half. After losing a forward to injury late in the half the team seemed to lose a little steam and gave up a goal on a set play. In a well played game by both teams a tie was the best result. PASCO gets third win in JAGS Premier
The girls played one of their best games all year
earning a 2-0 win against a tough Washington Township squad.
The
defense, midfield and goalie stood strong and the offense gave
pressure the whole game. They came up with a solid first ten minutes earning one goal on
three or four solid shots. In the second offensive pressure inside
the 18 helped when an high shot was directed in as an own-goal
over the opposing goalies' outstretched arms. See some highlights by

PASCO earns first win in NJYS National Championship 1-0
The team played strong in their first state cup
game vs. Thistle. With a referee who was non-existent
even earning the opposing coach a YELLOW just for asking a
simple question, the girls played solid defense allowing only
3 far away shots. It should have been a better score but one
goal was all they needed. GO PASCO.

PASCO nets their second win
The girls started the early morning game very
slowly, apparently not many morning players on the team.
At half Coach Luis inspired them to wake up and they responded
with a quick goal less than 5 minutes into the half.
They held strong and played a great second half. They
didn't give up any tough shots even though they ended the game
with a few minor injury and no subs on the bench. See
the goal highlight by clicking
here. GO PASCO.
